It is the message from God to us. He comes to us in Jesus Christ, to those in need and suffering. He wants to make our darkness bright.
During Advent, the preparatory period for the coming of Jesus, the Advent wreath makes our attention to the coming of the Light in our Darkness. We are aware of, experience this time and we try to get through our lives out from the darkness.
