Pope visit in Munich-Germany

Pope Benedict XVI, is set to make a visit to his hometown Bayern, Germany from September 9 through 14. The pope will deliver a message for belief, liberty and human dignity while celebrating three rounds of outdoor mass in Altotting and Regensburg after meeting with his families. The Pope celebrated the high mass in commemoration of the 20th World Juveniles’ Day in Marienfeld, Germany on August 21.

Yesterday, kim and I went to Munich to attend the Mass, together with some Woman in the Church Association in Limburgerhof.
We departed here at 2am dawn, sunday, Sept. 10, and we arrived in Munich at around 6am....When we arrived there, there were already plenty of buses, expected around 2,500 buses or 250,000 visitors, excluding the people outside.

The temperature on that time was 20 degrees, it was so organized, the securities, the places, the monitoring and etc. And the helpers and aid there were very approachable, they will help us to find our place where we belong.

The Mass was celebrated harmony and the Pope can be seen that he was so happy to be at home again. And we, the people are also happy together him, celebrating the Mass.

Together with some friends and some women at the church, we´re all enjoyed and jolly going there and going home too.

The problem only was, when the Mass was finished, and all the people in one time, liked to go out, eventhough there are 7 exits, but still, it´s so crowded.
Which makes me Panic and Phobia, that´s why i was brought by a police van in our bus, where it was park.
The Policemen and the Medical aid are very helpful and neat.

Eventhough that was happened to me, I didn´t regret going and attended the Mass in Munich, while it it is my pleasure and i am happy to have seen and hear Pope personally.........I am very thankful to Bernie and Kim who forced me to go in Munich, to attend and to witness the coming of Pope Benedict VXI.

belief, liberty and human dignity, that is...........

I share some pics, which i got in Munich, please if you have time, you can see in my Myphotoalbum......

Hi Vicki! Wow I really like your new place here! I didn't know bravenet has so many of those limitations. Maybe one day I will move too. Anyway, I went to looke at your pictures from seeing the Pope. What a wonderful opportunity & I wish I could go to attend one of his masses as well! I love that scarf that you got & the saying on it! So sorry you got a little sick there but I can imagine the heat and so many crowds of people. Anyway Vicki, I like your new pic here...Green is lovely on you...take care...
